Reflections have never been my forte because I’m not honest enough. I seem to suffer from the professional hazard of proofreading everything, for when you spend countless hours correcting your texts, you end up doing the same with your CV. At fifteen, I kept a diary that whispered to me on page seven that it wasn’t my thing, as I tend to enhance and intensify plots until they’re ready for print. I don’t write; I rewrite.
Nevertheless, from the past year, I’ve extracted a wisdom: that beginnings lie within endings. If I had grasped that earlier, I would have done some things sooner or others later – and some completely differently. Particularly, I would have started sharing my texts earlier. It’s a struggle; it always takes two bodybuilders to pull me from my couch into the limelight.
Successful stories are written from the end, where the true beginning is concealed. The same goes for relationships, businesses, and most definitely for our own lives because everything starts at the end.
I wish you all a fulfilling year 2024!
